1. Is Morning Star an accredited and legally registered early childhood center?
Yes. Morning Star Nursery and Pre-School is fully registered with the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education. We strictly implement the formal curriculum and developmental standards set by the Ministry, ensuring that your child receives an officially recognized, top-tier foundation that prepares them perfectly for primary school.
2. At what age can children enroll at Morning Star?
We accept children within the Early Childhood Development (ECD) age bracket, welcoming learners from 3 to 6 years old. Our classrooms and activities are tailored to meet the varying physical, social, and cognitive needs of both nursery-aged toddlers and preschool graduates preparing for Grade 1.
3. What documents are required to register my child?
To complete the enrollment process, parents or guardians must submit:
A copy of the child’s Birth Certificate.
A copy of the child’s Child Health Card (Immunization/Vaccination record).
Copies of national identification documents for parents or authorized guardians.
A completed Morning Star Enrollment & Emergency Contact Form (available at our office).

4. What learning framework does the school follow?
We implement the curriculum set by the Ministry of Education, intentionally focusing on five core developmental pillars: Physical (fine and gross motor skills), Cognitive (mind thinking processes), Social (understanding relationships and surroundings), Moral (accepted community values), and Emotional (building security and self-confidence).

6. Are your school fees affordable, and do you offer payment terms?

Recognizing the financial realities of local families, we provide structured, flexible payment plans to reliable parents.
7. Where exactly is the school located, and what neighborhoods do you serve?
Our current premises are located near the Emganwini Flea Market in Bulawayo. We primary serve and enjoy deep, unwavering support from families in Emganwini, Nketa, and surrounding nearby communities.
8. What are your future plans regarding school infrastructure?
To accommodate our fast-paced growth, we have successfully acquired a dedicated piece of land from the Bulawayo City Council. We are currently appealing for corporate funding and strategic partnerships to construct a state-of-the-art, permanent, fully-fledged infant and ECD school facility right here in Emganwini.
9. How can parents get involved or support the school's building projects?
We operate hand-in-hand with our parents. You can support us by volunteering for school events, sharing word-of-mouth recommendations, or contributing to our building fund appeal.
