History is not just about where we have been—it is about where we are going. Having outgrown our initial rented premises, Morning Star has officially acquired a dedicated piece of land from the Bulawayo City Council.

The Testing Ground
In 2015, Mrs. Zulu took a leap of faith & secured a loan from a local bank to purchase the school's very first pieces of furniture and foundational stationery.
2016
The First Morning
In 2016, after securing a modest rented property in the heart of the Emganwini suburb in Bulawayo, Morning Star officially opened its doors.

A Growing Legacy
Since those early days, Morning Star has continued its upward trajectory, expanding our student body to 51 active learners and solidifying our status as a trusted pillar of early education.

Yes. Morning Star Nursery and Pre-School is fully registered with the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education. We strictly implement the formal curriculum and developmental standards set by the Ministry, ensuring that your child receives an officially recognized, top-tier foundation that prepares them perfectly for primary school.

We pride ourselves on offering a well-rounded, modern early childhood experience. Our campus is currently situated near the Emganwini Flea Market in the Emganwini suburb of Bulawayo. We primary serve and receive immense support from families living in Emganwini, Nketa, and the surrounding neighboring communities. Parents are always welcome to book a visit to view our facilities.
